Journal Entry
So let's see, I haven't been very good about keeping my blog. I was so gung ho when I got it but then life got busy and then I got….tired. Filming for Friday the 13th (yes, a remake of the 1980 film) is finally done.
It seems really strange to me to have finished another slasher film. I mean I did House of Wax before I joined Supernatural, and now that Supernatural is a kind of cult favorite both Quinn and I end up doing slasher films. Like we can't get out of the genre. I mean I did do that Thomas Kincade movie but that hasn't even been slotted for a release date so far as I know and that sucker was filmed almost 2 years ago!
I am both excited and apprehensive for Supernatural's 4th season. Excited because I have never had so much fun working on any TV show or movie to date as I have with this cast and crew. Apprehensive because shit does it wear me out. Being one half of the only stars in the series is fucking hard. I mean we work our butts off! Everyone does, but Quinn and I? Damn man. Exhausted is a way of life for us during shooting.
But in the summer, you'd think we'd stop. Nope. We just keep going. Last year I think Quinn did a play…was it last year or the year before? I can't remember. This year we both did films. But now? Now I am TAKING A BREAK. I am staying home in San Diego and pretty much becoming a beach bum.
And I've met a couple few cool peeps. Caleb and I played hoops at the gym together, then did that whole spa thing, and man I gotta tell you. If you think that shit is girlie you are MISSING OUT! Spas ROCK! Hot tub, massage, steam room? I swear I never slept better in my whole damn life. I think I am going to hire a private masseuse. And build a sauna. I already have a pool and hot tub!
I also got to hang with Dailee who is super cool. She fed me snow cones. I mean come on! Ice, sugar, food coloring? BEST STUFF EVER! And for a sugar junkie it rules. Period.
Anyway, gotta cut this short as the pups are doing that whole…"DAD! We need out! NOW" thing.
